With generous sponsorship from Imtech Technical Services and Sportfish Reading FFF will be hosting 30 guests from HMAF for a full day of trout fishing. The day will commence for mentors at 08.30 (guests 09.30) with breakfast of bacon and sausage rolls, while lunch will be a hog roast.

The day will finish with a 16.00hrs weigh in, with tea, cakes and a prize giving for largest fish and heaviest bag. Come and share your trout fishing skills with those who protect our way of life.

Fishing For Forces Annual Lunch 2015

FFF are privileged to be holding our annual lunch this year.
On Wednesday November 18th at 12 Noon

At the home of the Blues and Royals. The HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY MOUNTED REGIMENT Barracks, Hyde Park, Knightsbridge. SW7 1SE.

As usual at this event there will be a superb three course lunch served in the WO’s and NCO’s Mess. This will be followed by a small number of items for auction to cater for all tastes whilst coffee is being served.

Seats are £120.00 PP, but a Table of 10 is offered at £1000.00. A table of 10 will consist of 9 civilians plus a guest from HMAF.

A very special addition not to be missed.

Guests of FFF have been offered the opportunity to join a tour of the Historic in house Museum at the barracks (at no extra cost). The tour commences at 11.15 sharp until 11.45 when the guests will then return to the parade ground and be allowed to watch the dismounting of the troopers returning from duty at Buckingham Palace. The tour will be conducted by an officer of many years distinguished service Major Warren Douglas, Squadron Leader of the Life Guards.  Places for the tour are highly sought after and limited to 20 guests only so booking is required at the earliest possible.

Please report to the Ceremonial Gate in Hyde Park with your invitation (for Tour and / or Lunch). For security Photo ID is also required.

P&D Parking is available in the park and local streets and Knightsbridge Underground is 6 Minutes walk. Your RSVP please asap as to date 6 tables have already been taken and we only have a maximum of 12 tables.

Details: The organisers of this fundraising event invite competitors to join the John Lewis/Fishing For Forces team to participate in a fun day of trout fishing from boats on this attractive and productive reservoir fishery.  For those who are not familiar with boat fishing on these big waters, it presents the opportunity to share a boat with an experienced angler from the Tunbridge Wells Fly Fishing Society and to have a good introduction to this method of fishing.

The cost of the day, including fishing, boat hire and evening meal plus a £10 donation to Fishing for Forces will be £62.50.  In addition, all monies raised from the evening raffle will be donated to Fishing for Forces.

18.00- 18-15 Arrive at mess Bar then 18.15-1930 Drinks and a curry dinner.
The club will then go on to their AGM and mentors depart.

This is an introduction to angling with the assistance of FFF.
